Veteran India off-spinner R Ashwin has been in great form since making a comeback to white-ball cricket for Team India. He played his first limited-overs game for the Men in Blue in nearly 4 years in the T20 World Cup and was quick on making his presence felt, being economical with the ball and also picking up crucial wickets.

While Ashwin scalped six wickets in three games in the world event, he has been riding the same form in the home series against New Zealand. It was former India opener Wasim Jaffer, who is known for his funny memes and messages on social media, who paid a compliment to Ashwin in his typical style.

"Recently @ashwinravi99 invited me for a cheeseburger and served this. So I'm not surprised at all with how economical he has lately been," Jaffer wrote alongside two hilarious pictures which explain his play of words. The cricketer-turned-coach's sense of humour would have made Ashwin laugh too as he responded "Wasim bhai," which he followed by laughing emojis and folded hands.

Earlier Ashwin had spoken at length about what he expects from Rahul Dravid's coaching style who took over from Ravi Shastri as the head coach of the Indian team. Dravid's tenure has started with a series win but the spinner had made this statement in a press conference ahead of the first T20I of the series in Jaipur.

"It's too early for me to comment on Rahul Dravid's coaching style, we need to give him breathing space. He's put the hard yards in through the U-19 level etc. He won't leave much to chance, and he'll be all about preparation and process, so that we can bring the happiness back into the Indian dressing room," the 35-year-old had said.

With the series already in the bag, India could rest Ashwin in the final T20I at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata as he also has a role to play in the Test matches that follow.
