Team India is set to kick off its Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on September 10 in Colombo's Premadasa Stadium. But with weather-related concerns predicted for the match day, the Asian Cricket Council had allotted September 11, as a reserve day for the fixture.

With the forecast for September 10 pointing towards possible rainfall, reserve day could come into play. But looking at the weather for September 11, the marquee India-Pakistan fixture could end up as a no result.
Talking about the weather forecast for Reserve Day, it is expected that Colombo will remain cloudy throughout the day with a few thunderstorms, according to AccuWeather. The probability of precipitation stands at 99% and the probability of thunderstorms stands at 59% on September 11, Monday.

But moving towards the night, Colombo is set to experience an occasional evening rain and a thunderstorm; otherwise, the conditions will be considerably cloudy. The probability of precipitation goes down to 77% and the probability of thunderstorms stands at 46%. The highest temperature for September 11 will be 30°C while the lowest will go down to 25°C.
