On the other hand, Jemimah Rodrigues registered an unbeaten knock of 47 runs off 29 balls as she smashed six boundaries during her inning while Richa Ghosh made a quick-fire cameo with 21*-off-7, hitting three fours and a six.
As the Malaysian openers took the crease to chase the mammoth total of 177 runs via the DLS method, the rain-marred match was stopped with just two balls being bowled by the Indians.
