The Indian contingent had a yet another eventful day at the ongoing Asian Games 2023. The Indian athletes once again shone for the country, earning two golds, two silver and five bronze, to take the Indian tally to 69 medals in total. The two Indian female athletes finished at the top of the podium, earning the two gold medals in the day, one being javelin thrower Annu Rani and the other being the ace runner, Parul Chaudhary.

Apart from these two, Mohammed Afsal, Tejaswin Shankar bought the silver, while the Indian men’s team in Canoeing, Preeti Pawar, Vithya Ramraj, Praveen Chithravel and Narender Berwal took home the bronze. With nine medals on Day 10, India firmed their place at number four, with China (295), Japan (129) and South Korea (138) taking the top three spots.
