The Asian Kabaddi Championship 2023 kick-started in  Busan, Republic of Korea, on June 27, making its return after six years. The tournament includes six nations -India, Iran, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei, and Hong Kong, who have each played three games so far.

The intercontinental tournament follows a single-legged round-robin format, after which the top two teams advance to the final on July 30. After three games, India is number one with three wins from three games and a superior point difference in comparison to second-placed Iran.  Japan and Chinese Taipei are third and fourth, while South  Korea and  Hong Kong are still yet to open their account.
