After an entertaining opening fixture in Mumbai, India and Australia will lock horns in the second ODI at Visakhapatnam’s Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Stadium. The first ODI didn’t play out like a normal Wankhede game as the Aussies were bundled out for 188 after a brilliant start. But the chase wasn’t easy at all as the hosts were reduced 39-4 at one stage before they clawed back to win the game by five wickets
Australia has a better chance to win the toss as they have won more tosses so far in recent ODI games in comparison to India.
Based on the first game, Team India continues to be the favourite to win this game and the series in Vizag. The opening fixture saw an all-around effort by the Men in Blue. The Indian players weathered Mitch Marsh’s blistering start before running through the remaining batters. Then in the second innings, despite losing many early wickets, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, carried the team to another famous win. The Indian batting will also improve after the return of captain Rohit Sharma to the side, further improving their chances to win the game.
