The Men in Blue registered another dominant whitewash at home as they defeated Sri Lanka in 3rd T20I in Dharamshala, to secure a 3-0 series win. There were some brilliant performances by Indian players throughout the three games but the undisputed star of show was Shreyas Iyer, who got an opportunity to bat at No. 3 in absence of Virat Kohli.
The newly-appointed KKR captain made most of his chance to bat at top of the order as he stunned everyone with his consistent and explosive batting. He registered scores of 57* (28), 74* (44) and 73* (45) and remained unbeaten throughout the series, hitting 204 runs at strike-rate of 174.35.
With his batting, Shreyas broke quite a few records as he became only the first Indian player ever to score 200+ runs in 3-match T20I series. As expected, the fans went berserk on social media in praise of the player of series.

KKR's tweet for their new skipper indeed summed up Shreyas Iyer's performance against Sri Lanka, who actually stood like a wall, under the coaching and backing of India's Wall - Rahul Dravid. His performances will indeed be a healthy headache for team management going ahead, but there would certainly be no complains.
