Bangladesh have finally named their final squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, which is just a couple of months away from now. The 15-member squad will be led by Mahmudullah, which also features some big names in the form of Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mustafizur Rahman. The Tigers will have to finish in top two in the qualifiers in Oman to secure their berth in Super 12 stage.

Notably, Bangladesh have been placed in Group B for the qualifying round, alongside the following teams:

- Scotland

- Papua New Guinea

- Oman

While the table toppers will be placed in Group 2 (featuring India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, New Zealand and Group A runner-up) for Super 12 stage, the runner-up will go to Group 1 (featuring England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies and Group B winner).
