A quickfire unbeaten half-century from Axar Patel helped Team India to pull off a brilliant run chase against West Indies on Sunday. After the game, many cricket experts and fans hailed the brilliant knock by the Indian all-rounder.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who has been rested for the ODI series against West Indies, has praised the collective effort by the Men in Blue and particularly lauded the man of the match, Axar Patel for his all-round performance.

Rohit took to Twitter and wrote, "Woah ? that was some performance from team India last night. Bapu badhu Saru che @akshar2026 @bcci."

Apart from Axar (64*), Shreyas Iyer (63) and Sanju Samson (54) also scored half-centuries to help India chase the target of 312 runs.

After winning the second game against the Windies, the Indian cricket team managed an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. The visitors have won the first two ODIs by slight margins and will look to dominate the hosts in the final match of the series.

The third ODI between India and West Indies will be played on July 27 at the Queen's Park Oval Port of Spain in Trinidad. After that, India is set to play five-match T20I series against West Indies starting from July 29 to August 7.
