Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman had a rather terrible health scare ahead of the Spanish giants' clash against Sevilla in their domestic league 2020-21 season. The Barca manager, in fact, started bleeding from nose due to which the press conference had to be curtailed abruptly. It is further being reported that this is not the first time either that the 57-year-old is suffering from this health problem and has had several episodes of bleeding in recent weeks.

A recent report by journalist said that Ronald Koeman's nosebleed is related to the blood thinners he takes in relation to the heart disease he has. However, he further suggested that Koeman is okay now and isn't related to experiencing any physical symptoms. A video of the incident has also emerged on the internet.

Here is the video:

Notably, the Blaugrana manager had undergone a surgery in May last year after experiencing chest pain, where it was revealed that he had suffered a mild heart attack. The Dutch football strategist had fell ill and was operated upon to be brought to a stable condition. All of this happened, three months prior to Koeman being appointed as the Catalan boss, replacing Quique Setien at the helm of affairs.

"It’s true that when things like this happen to you, or when you have people by your side who have been sick, life change a bit. After my heart attack, I think about things a little differently, probably. The opportunity to coach Barça was now or never. I am 57 years old, I have a coach for many years, I don't want to end up training at 70 either. The moment was now," he was quoted as saying.

Barca will be up against Sevilla in a La Liga clash on Saturday and despite Koeman's health concern, he is expected to be available for the match.
