In not particularly pleasing news for the Battleground Mobile India users in India, the game, which is seen as an Indianised version of PUBG Mobile India, has allegedly been found sending data servers in China. It is being reported that Battlegrounds Mobile India is leading the data of its users in India to its neighbouring country China. It has also apparently sent data to the server of Tencent, which is the developer of PUBG Mobile.

It is being learnt that Battlegrounds Mobile India is using several servers to communicate, out of which the China Mobile Communication happens to be the most-used one. Moreover, the so-called Indian version of PUBG Mobile India is found relaying data between servers located in Hong Kong, Moscow, the US, and Mumbai.

Several politicians seeking a ban on game

Such allegations come after there have already been talks in the country about placing a ban on the game. The Secretary-General of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), Praveen Khandelwal, had urged the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology to ban Battlegrounds Mobile India, citing security concerns which wasn’t the first instance of a ban being sought on the game either with several ministers asking for the same.

It would be interesting to see the action the ones in authority take especially because the response to the game has been pretty amazing with over 5 million downloads already. But given that the Indian government had taken such a decision in the past, they can take a firm step even this time which is sure to break the hearts of the gamers.
