According to Dainik Jagran, Since the teams are required to submit their squads by May 1, the BCCI selectors will meet on either April 27 or April 28 to pick India’s squad for the World Cup 2024. India skipper and seasoned opener Rohit Sharma will be in Delhi as Mumbai Indians are slated to play Delhi Capitals on April 27. Hence, April 27 and April 28 are the most suitable dates to finalise the squad. Not only this, but BCCI’s chief selector Ajit Agarkar will also return from Spain to Delhi around these dates, while other selectors will also travel to the national capital for the same.
