11. Sam Curran
Sam Curran was England’s finest performer with the ball in
the T20 World Cup 2022. He took 5/10 against Afghanistan and became the first
bowler from the country to take a five-wicket haul in the T20 WC.
Curran then returned with figures of 2/31 and 2/26 against
Ireland and New Zealand respectively. Although he went wicket-less against
India in the semi-finals, he was terrific in the final against Pakistan. He finished
with figures of 3/12 in four overs and helped England to win the title. He then
was chosen the Player of the Tournament as well.
