3. Virat Kohli
The Indian stalwart made an impression in the first game
itself, wherein he returned with a knock of 82* off 53 against Pakistan. This
was probably his best T20I knock to date, wherein his composure and late blitz
were sensational. He then remained unbeaten on 62* off 44 balls against the
Netherlands.
The game against South Africa and Zimbabwe witnessed Kohli
contributing only 12 and 26 respectively. In the semi-finals against the English team,
the elegant batter scored 50 off 40. In six innings, he amassed 296 runs in six
innings at an average of 98.66, and was the top run-getter in the tournament.
