The No. 1 T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav was impressive throughout the
tournament with his ability to hit shots all around the park. He managed to
score 239 runs in six innings at an average of 59.75 and a lavish strike rate
of 189.68. The best knock came against South Africa, wherein he returned with 68
off 40, when all the other batters struggled.
SKY remained unbeaten on 51* off 25 balls against the Dutch
team. The Zimbabwe game was a show-stealer for him, as he slammed 61* off 25
and etched his name into the hearts of cricket fanatics. However, he could contribute
14 against the Three Lions in the semi-finals.
