Hardik Pandya has taken the whole cricketing fraternity by storm with his performances since his comeback to international cricket. The India all-rounder is looking in much better shape as he is bowling at full potential. Pandya claimed three wickets in the high-stake game against arch-rivals Pakistan. He was also the quickest bowler from India as he consistently clocked 140kph+.

Not just with the ball, Hardik played a handy knock with the bat as well. In fact, his inning was the difference between the two sides. The 28-year-old scored a quickfire 33* off just 17 balls and took India home with a six. With Pandya showing such levels of calm and composure, the all-rounder earned so much praise from everyone.

Even a former Pakistan speedster could not stop himself from hailing the Indian all-rounder and making a bold comment. Wasim Akram looked so impressed with Pandya that he went on to call him the best all-rounder in world cricket at the moment. Akram said that Pandya is way ahead of his counterparts.

"I think he knows he is one of the best all-rounders in the world right now so he works according to that. His mindset is set according to that. So he wants to get wickets when he comes, he bowls at 140-plus, and then he comes out to bat... he is a very important member of the Indian squad in all formats. In my opinion, he is the best all-rounder in cricket right now the way he is batting. Better than Andre Russell, better than all the all-rounders we have. He is consistent, and an electrifying fielder too. Overall, he is one of the top cricketers in the world," Akram said on Star Sports.

Interestingly, former India head coach Ravi Shastri also wrote similar praise for Pandya after his match-winning performance against Pakistan. "Needed the best T20 all-rounder in the business to power India across the finish line - @hardikpandya7," he tweeted.
