Battlegrounds Mobile India, the popular classic royale game was banned in India in July 2022 by the Indian government for alleged privacy and safety concerns in the country. Over nine months have passed since Battlegrounds Mobile India was last available in any online store. But there is good news for the mobile gaming community in India.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is set to return in the second quarter of the year, according to a recent report from KRAFTON's financial services provider in South Korea, Samsung Securities. It indicates the potential for BGMI to show up in April, May, or June. The 2.6 version of PUBG Mobile will be released globally around the same time.

No official news about the return of the popular game was announced after the ban. But it seems that the game is all set to return to the play store after almost nine months. The statement from Samsung Securities has provoked hope among the fans of the game. The 2.6 update of the global version of BGMI, which is known as PlayerUnknown BattleGrounds is also set to go global in the coming few days. BGMI was banned a few days after 250 other Chinese apps were banned in India.
