After the first four matches, the two runners-up teams from the previous seasons are leading the table. They're both eager to win this time. Players like AKop, Punk, and Zgod are performing well and boosting their team's confidence.
Meanwhile, Hector-led Carnival Gaming and Team Tamilas are also performing well. Both teams had a strong start on Day 1 but couldn't keep up the momentum. Now on Saturday, August 10, they'll be aiming to get back on track.
Day 1 Summary
Match 1 - Erangel
Team Tamilas, known for their consistency, won the first match with a WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner) and 13 finish points. They played exceptionally well, securing a total of 23 points. Mr. IGL was the MVP of the match for his excellent performance.
Carnival Gaming, led by Hector, finished in third place with 14 points overall, including eight finish points early in the game. Reckoning Esports took second place with 11 points.
Match 2 - Sanhok
After scoring zero points in Erangel, Global Esports bounced back in the second match, winning with eight finishes. Team IGL Arclyn was the star, getting the final finish to secure the victory.
Gods Reign also made a comeback after a tough start, finishing second with 12 points. Orangutan earned 11 points, while Carnival Gaming ended with eight points.
Match 3 - Miramar
Fan favorite, Team IQOOSoul, secured the WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner) in the match with a total of 20 points. Their strong defense against Godlike Esports at their compound was crucial to their victory.
Orangutan's AKop delivered an incredible performance, securing nine solo finishes. His standout play included an amazing 1v2 against Reckoning Esports while jumping down a hill, leading his team to a second-place finish.
Match 4 - Erangel
Team Orangutan ended Day 1 of the finals with an incredible WWCD and six finish points. AKop once again stood out as the team secured the top spot in the overall standings with 58 points.
Meanwhile, Godlike Esports showed no mercy, earning 21 points with an impressive 18 finish points. Punk is stepping up as an IGL and fragging like a beast for the team.
