After the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 edition was indefinitely postponed on May 4, there have been talks on its resumption later this year. However, the dates and venue are yet to be finalised, but India surely is not now on the cards to host the remainder of the tournament. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly in a statement said that the remainder of the tournament will not take place in India, seeing the rise in COVID-19 cases.
