Krafton India Esports recently revealed the return of highly-anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025. The tournament, which is a top rated event in BGMI, is set to get underway from May 22, with the final set to be played on July 6 in New Delhi. However, it will see 96 invited teams fight for the coveted silverware along with a prize pool of INR 4 Crore.
But with only a few days left for the tournament to get underway, on Monday, May 19, the organisers anounced the groups for round one of the BMPS 2025. Notably, the two groups, Group A and B will play the first day of Round 1 matches on May 22.
BMPS Round 1 Groups announced
As confirmed by the organisers, a total of 32 teams will be seen in action on the opening day. While Group A consists of 16 teams, including the likes of IQOO Team Tamilas, Hyderabad Hydras, Genesis Esports, among others, Group B also consists of as many teams.

96 teams compete
Top 8 teams move to the Semi-Finals Week 1
9th to 16th-ranked teams move to Round 3
The remaining 64 teams move to Round 2
In the first round, all 96 teams play. The top 8 teams will directly enter the Semi-Finals Week 1. Teams ranked 9th to 16th get another chance in Round 3. The other 64 teams continue their journey in Round 2.
