Big news has emerged for BGMI esports fans in India, as the global competition they've been waiting for may finally happen this year. According to the reports, the winner of the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025 is likely to compete in the highly anticipated Esports World Cup 2025 in PUBG Mobile.

The BMPS 2025 winner is likely to compete in the Esports World Cup 2025

According to the reports, the Indian BGMI teams are set to compete with global teams once again, and this time in the Esports World Cup 2025. The winner of the ongoing BMPS 2025 will get an invitation to the EWC 2025 in PUBG Mobile, which is set to be played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 7 July to 24 August.

These reports gained even more strength after S8UL recently announced their roster for the EWC 2025, including their BGMI lineup, which is a strong indication that Indian BGMI teams are set to feature in the World Cup in Riyadh. However, no slot has been announced for India in the PUBG Mobile Esports World Cup 2025 so far, so fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from Krafton.

Notably, PUBG Mobile is banned in India, but in the past, Indian BGMI teams have competed in several major PUBG Mobile tournaments like PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 and PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022.

Indian fans have been eagerly waiting for the global competition for the BGMI teams, so if it happens, this will be a major boost for the esports industry in India.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025 already kicked off on 22 May and will run until 6 July. The grand finals of the tournament will be played in New Delhi. The 96 invited teams are competing in the tournament, and if all reports come out true, the winner will get tickets to the Esports World Cup 2025.
