After his outstanding performance in Dana White’s Contender Series, the upcoming star in the UFC circuit Bo Nickal was handed a contract for his promotional debut. However, recent injury concerns have hinted in the reported scrapping of his UFC 282 debut, scheduled to take place in December 2022.
Although, official update from the UFC is still awaited, Bo Nickal was matched up against Jamie Pickett for his promotional debut. His stint in the UFC circle began after he earned a first-round submission against the then undefeated Zachary Borrego, NCAA Division I wrestler.
MMA Junkie reported the news of Bo Nickal missing his debut, adding that the UFC will be looking ahead to UFC 285 for the generational talent’s first octogen appearance now.
According to additional reports doing rounds, it has been revealed that the promotion will keep the pairing intact, with the event rumoured to be moved to pay-per-view event in UFC 285, scheduled to take place on March 4, 2023.
