F or RR to qualify for the IPL 2023 playoffs, both MI and RCB should lose their last game to SRH and GT respectively. Looking at the weather conditions in Bengaluru there is a chance that GT vs RCB might get curtailed as teams might start to lose many overs due to rainy conditions. Is it possible for RR to enter playoffs even if the overs get reduced for GT vs RCB game?
The answer is yes, and the margin of win will almost remain the same by at least 6 runs (or) 4 balls to be spared. Once the first inning is done we will be able to get the exact scenario and the margin of win difference may small change according to the total by plus (or) minus a few runs (or) balls. Thus, there won't be much deviation for the margin of a win, even if overs reduce accordingly to match the situation.
Note:- This is applicable only if MI loses to SRH.
