Australia's T20 captain Aaron Finch was completely blown away by the atmosphere at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 23 for the India vs Pakistan ICC Men's T20 World Cup. While the Finch-led Aussie are the defending champions and are one of the favourites to win the title this year, Finch said that he can't wait to retire and watch an India-Pakistan game live at the stadium.

He made this statement while sharing his thoughts on the epic humdinger of a game between the two Asian rivals which India won on the last ball.

"Regardless of what the result is...I think the India-Pakistan game was amazing. I was actually sitting at home, nervous! I was nervous in the build-up watching that because I know how big a clash it is and I can't wait for the day that I can retire and go and watch an India-Pakistan game live somewhere," Finch told Melinda Farrell on her YouTube channel.

"I was sitting on the couch in my hotel room and i was nervous in the build-up, it's quite strange, yeah," he added.

The match witnessed one of Virat Kohli's best innings as the former skipper scored an unbeaten 82 and took his team over the winning line after they were reeling at 31/4, chasing 160. Finch, too, was impressed with Kohli's masterclass.

"What it was...was a Virat Kohli masterclass! You always felt even though..... with three overs to go that if you're still there...you know the amount of pressure that he puts on the opposition just by being there and yeah it was just great viewing," Finch stated.

Meanwhile, another celebrated cricket rivalry between Australia and England will be on display on Friday at the MCG. The match, however, has been delayed due to rain. Australia were stunned by New Zealand in the first match but tasted victory against Sri Lanka in their next game by 7 wickets.
