According to ChatGPT, Pele is the greatest footballer ever, followed by Maradona in second place. The chatbot had reason to choose Pele, as he had an incredible record of scoring over 1,000 goals in his career, winning three World Cups with Brazil, and being named FIFA Player of the Century. Maradona had magical dribbling, scoring the “Goal of the Century” against England in 1986 and leading Argentina to World Cup glory in the same year.

Messi and Ronaldo, who are regarded as the best players of their generation, came third and fourth in ChatGPT’s list. The duo boast phenomenal achievements, such as winning multiple Ballon d’Or awards, breaking numerous records, and dominating club football with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The remaining players on ChatGPT’s list are Alfredo Di Stefano (fifth), Johan Cruyff (sixth), Franz Beckenbauer (seventh), Zinedine Zidane (eighth), George Best (ninth), and Ferenc Puskas (tenth).
