Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been going through tough times professionally. While Kohli was struggling to score runs and receiving massive criticism from all quarters over his inclusion in the squad despite poor performance, the Indian batter recently sustained a groin injury due to which he was ruled of 1st ODI against England.

While the batter is still in England, he recently had an encounter with his former India under-19 player Dwaraka Ravi Teja. Notably, Ravi Teja represented Meghalaya in the domestic circuit and had shared the change room with Kohli during their U-15 days. Both the former teammates recently met each other in England and had a heartwarming conversation, which later Teja revealed via a social media post.

Taking to Twitter, Ravi shared a picture with Virat Kohli stating that he met the former Indian skipper after six years after IPL in the UK and the Indian batter has not changed a bit by mentioning how Kohli still remembers his nickname. Teja also revealed that they both used to watch and dance to Telugu movie star Chiranjeevi’s songs and had since started to call another 'Chiru.'

The 34-year-old pointed out that Kohli had in fact greeted him by asking 'Chiru kaisa hai tu?'. He wrote, "Met him after 6 yrs after IPL in UK & 1st thing he tells me is Chiru Kaise hai tu? U-15 days we were roommates & I used to watch Chiranjeevi’s songs on tv & he danced to them & from then on Chiru was nickname we gave each other. It was great seeing u Chiru”. While, Virat was left out of the ODI series opener against England due to a mild groin strain, and will reportedly miss the 2nd ODI match, team India leads the three-match ODI series by 1-0 after defeating England by 10 wickets at the Oval. Team India will next take on the hosts in the second ODI at the Lord’s on Thursday.
