The ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle is already in India ahead of the IPL 2023. However, the two-month long tournament is a month away from the start, but the West Indies cricketer is playing in the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup 2023 currently. The Jamaican player is playing for Kiccha Sudeep’s Hoysala Eagles.

Known for his on-field prowess and hard hitting, the 43-year-old has never failed to gain the spectator’s attraction with his power and entertainment. One such moment of it was seen during the match between Suresh Raina’s Ganga Warriors and Hoysala Eagles.
The West Indies cricketer who was stationed near the boundary ropes in the KCC match on Friday (24 February), was seen shaking a leg on a Kannada song ‘Chuttu Chuttu’. The video of the same is now doing rounds on the internet.

Talking about the match, Chris Gayle’s unbeaten 59 off 23 balls helped Kiccha Sudeep’s team win their first game in the tournament. The KCC 2023 kick started on 24 February 2023 and features former cricketers as well as top Kannada stars. The league is being played with six teams, which are divided into two groups, Group A and Group B.
Talking about Gayle, the West Indies cricketer did not put his name in the IPL 2023 Player Auctions and will be seen in a new avatar in the forthcoming season.
