Red Bull boss Christian Horner is reportedly under an internal investigation after an accusation was made by another member of the staff at the team. Horner was related to inappropriate controlling behaviour. In response, the team took the allegations seriously and launched an independent investigation. Not only this, but the reports also suggest that Horner might be on his way out of the team.
According to The Guardian, Red Bull released a statement and said, “After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation. This process, which is already underway, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”
Christian Horner denies accusations made about his behaviour
The Red Bull Team Principal denied all the accusations made against him and refrained from making any comments about his future with the team. According to De Telegraf, after an F1 Commission meeting that took place in the FOM, London, Horner said, “I categorically deny these allegations.” On the other hand, Motorsport-Total.com reported that the British official refrained from making any comments about his future.
Horner said, “I’m not saying anything about it.” It is to be noted that the 50-year-old is one of the most successful team principals in modern F1. He has overseen six constructors’ world championships and seven drivers’ titles with Red Bull.
