Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 Heat Wave is the latest update for the popular mobile shooter game, bringing new content and features to keep players entertained and challenged. The update launches on August 3, 2023, at 5:30 AM IST and includes a new multiplayer map, a new multiplayer mode, a new themed event, a new battle pass, and more.
Here we’ll take you through with the new features coming in the Heat Wave update:
New multiplayer map - Seaside:
Seaside, a modest map with a Spanish setting that first appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, is the next multiplayer map. Markets, wine cellars, rooftops, and tanks serve as cover and flanking chances on this traditional three-lane layout. The battle for control of the central courtyard on this particular map is perfect for snipers and close-quarters warriors alike.
New multiplayer mode - Safeguard:
The brand-new cooperative multiplayer game is called Safeguard. It is a turn-based mode where teams alternately guide a robot across the battlefield. The attacking team must defend the robot from the defending team's attacks because it is unable to defend itself. The robot will have to reboot if it sustains enough damage, which would slow down its development. If the robot can be escorted to its destination before the round is up, the assaulting team earns a point, and the defensive team earns a point if they can stop that from happening. The match is won by the first team to win two rounds.
New themed event - Summer Sizzle:
Players can earn BBQ coupons by completing in-game tasks and responding to trivia questions during the new themed event called Summer Sizzle. The BBQ can be tasted using the coupons, which results in random rewards and raises the heat level of the BBQ. Players can access new milestone rewards at specific heat level thresholds.
New battle pass - Heat Wave:
Heat Wave is the name of the brand-new battle pass, which offers both free and paid stuff including new operator skins, weapon blueprints, calling cards, and COD points. The Striker 45, a potent SMG with long-range capabilities, and the Tac-Deploy Operator Skill, which serves as a spawn beacon for the entire squad, are included in the free tiers. Beach-ready operator skins including Woods, Baker - Underwater, Ajax - Ice Cream Man, and Urban Tracker - Fly High are available in the premium levels. Ocean-themed weapon blueprints such as the M13 - Cold Cream, Oden - Road Trip, JAK-12 - Winged Steel, Locus - Crustacean Blue, and Striker 45 - Tropical Fun are also available in the higher levels.
