After suffering a gruesome injury against Dustin Poirier in July 2021, Conor McGregor has been working on his recovery. Recently, the former featherweight and lightweight double champion has been accused of using performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) by UFC commentator Joe Rogan and the Notorious has responded to the accusation.

After UFC fighter Conor McGregor failed to appear for the tests following his ankle injury against Dustin Poirier in his last fight, the 34-year-old was removed from the USADA's drug testing pool and needs to undergo six months of testing to compete again .

However, McGregor regularly posts his training videos and pictures that showed his grown muscles and bulky physique. Many doubted his sudden growth and accused him of using PEDs as Joe Rogan accused the Irishman of using banned substance for his massive muscle gain. Rogan said on his podcast, "He’s (Conor) taking his shirt off and posing constantly and he looks like his piss would melt that USADA cup."

He added, "Like it would just like burn a hole right through the bottom of that USADA cup. The weird thing is that there is a loophole in USADA that allows you to get out of the testing pool. You can just juice up."

Conor McGregor hits back at Joe Rogan

McGregor took to his official Twitter handle to strike back at Joe Rogan and wrote, "Joe looks like his piss melts his knickers, in the company that long and never took a fight hahaha @ufc oh tae kwon do competitions, call the cops hahahahaah."

However, the Irishman deleted his tweet later while his return to the UFC remain uncertain. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor  will be featuring alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchior, and Billy Magnussen in an upcoming film, which is the remake of the 1980s film "Road House".
