Former UFC champion Conor McGregor paid a young action-figure artist USD 1200 to purchase collectible figurines while filming an episode of The Ultimate Fighter in Las Vegas. The UFC superstar was recording an episode of the reality show when he invited a young artist Samuel Romero, who is known for creating action figures, which left McGregor impressed.

Gregor was particularly impressed with one figure, which showed the 34-year-old UFC star wearing a fancy suit. The Irish fighter picked a few figurines for his children, and paid a whopping wad of the artist, leaving him absolutely shocked. After meeting the artist, McGregor said to the camera, “He puts all these different parts of all these different wrestlers and all and he made me and made a few other guys. It can turn at the wrist; it can turn at the elbow and my son Junior loves that he can make all different positions with the guy."

Knowing how toys make his six-year-old son happy, he said, "Junior is going to love these, the kids are going to love these.” After Conor’s meeting with Romero, promotional President Dana White said, “Conor making his return to the UFC on this season of The Ultimate Fighter has been a huge deal to millions of fans. One fan Conor came across on social media apparently makes his own action figures and he made a few of Conor. So, Conor wanted to meet him and it's awesome. It's always cool to give huge fans this type of opportunity."

The UFC legend is coaching against Michael Chandler in the newest season of The Ultimate Fighter ahead of their fight slated later this year.  The duo is expected to compete at welterweight on December 16 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
