After MMA fighter Conor McGregor reacted to the reports of UFC buying out WWE on Sunday, wrestling manager Paul Heyman took a jibe at the 34-year-old Irishman by calling him WWE superstar Roman Reigns wannabe. However, 'The Notorious' didn't hold back and sent a cold threat to Heyman on social media.

After the reports of the WWE's probable sale to the parent company of the UFC, Endeavor, emerged, McGregor took to his official Twitter handle and posted a picture of himself holding the UFC and WWE Title belts and congratulated the UFC. He wrote, "Congrats to the @ufc now worth a cool Proper $12bn. Wow! Endeavor bout to scoop the @WWE now also. Incredible. What a powerhouse! "

Paul He yman reacted to McGregor's picture holding the title belts and wrote, " @TheNotoriousMMA  is a  @WWERomanReigns  wannabe!!! " This response by Heyman didn't go well with the former UFC champion in two different weight classes, who threatened Roman Reigns manager and called him "Grampa."

McGregor wrote, " Careful Grampa. I’ll show up and break your jaw in 3 places. "

Meanwhile,  Conor McGregor is scheduled to make his long-awaited return to the UFC later this year as he will face American star Michael Chandler in the octagon for the first time since  his leg injury during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021 .
