A cricket coach in Uttar Pradesh has been suspended after a video of him getting a body massage from a minor player went viral on the internet. The cricket coach belongs to the Ravindra Kishore Shahi Sports Stadium in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh.
Sports Director Dr. RP Singh issued the suspension orders after taking cognizance of the viral video where the coach and warden, Abdul Ahad was caught enjoying a body massage from a minor cricket trainee inside the hostel. The order has further informed that Mr. Ahad will have to report to the regional office in Lucknow.
Deputy Director Sports RN Singh has been nominated as an inquiry officer, who will probe the matter and will submit the report. Reports have confirmed that the viral video is from August last year, and after the video went viral the sports department launched an investigation.
Meanwhile, another video featuring a minor has gone viral where he can be seen making serious allegations against the coach. In the video, the player is accusing the coach of using abusive language and forcing him to give him a massage, and not letting him go home. He has also alleged that the coach did not let him talk to his father.
A three-member team has been formed under Sadar ADM on the orders of the District Magistrate. The committee is instructed to submit its report within three days.
