Star footballer and one of the greats of the game, Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday, August 11 finally extended an official proposal to his long-time girlfriend and partner Georgina Rodriguez. The 40-year-old, who currently plays for top Saudi club Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, proposed to his long-time partner after living with her for nearly a decade now.
The development was confirmed after Georgina, the Argentina-Spanish social media personality took to her official Instagram handle to share picture of the gigantic 35-carat diamond ring along with the hand of Ronaldo beneath her hand. “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas (Yes, I do. In this life and in all my lives),” she wrote in the caption.

While this news left the internet in frenzy with congratulatory messages pouring in from all corners of the world. Speaking of the prized ring, which got all the attention in the picture going viral, is an oval-shaped, D-Flawless diamond, known to be weighing around 35 carat.
Speaking of their relationship, Ronaldo and Rodriguez began dating back in 2016. They have five children together - eight year old twins Eva Maria and Mateo, seven-year-old daughter Alana and a three year-old daughter Bella. While Georgina was blessed with twins alongside Bella, but her twin brother - Angel, passed away soon after birth. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, whereas is Ronaldo’s 15-year-old son from previous relation.
