Punjab’s batting unit crumbles to KKR’s bowling brilliance
In the 31st match of the 2025 IPL season between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, the home team has been dealt a significant blow as they have been bowled out in 15.3 overs for just 111 runs. A feisty combination of KKR’s pace and spin bowling attack led by names like Harshit Rana, Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine have overpowered the Punjab batting unit.
6 out of the 11 batters have been dismissed for single digit scores as Punjab have been restricted to an extremely low total which will be very difficult to defend looking at KKR’s firepower. A few handy knocks from Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh have helped Punjab avoid a complete disaster in the first innings of this game.
