David Miller says 'Sorry' to Rajasthan Royals after GT beat RR in Qualifier 1; RR responds

After his unbeaten knock of 68, David Miller has scored 449 runs from the 15 matches he has played in this year's edition.

South Africa & Gujarat Titans batter David Miller starred with the bat in last night’s Qualifier 1. The 32-year-old who is having the best of the seasons in IPL this year took Gujarat Titans to their maiden tournament finale with his brilliant knock of 68* off just 38 deliveries.

The Gujarat Titans played the Qualifier 1 of this year’s edition against former IPL champions Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday evening. David Miller was the star of the day with his exceptional knock. However, Miller even took to Twitter post winning the game for his side against his former IPL franchise.

The 32-year-old wrote “Sorry #RoyalsFamily” after taking his new franchise in their maiden IPL final. After his winning knock, Miller also said, “if it’s in the V, it’s in the tree and if it’s in the arc, it’s out of the park”, during the post-match presentation.

David Miller smashed four sixes and a four in the last 8 deliveries in his knock of unbeaten 68. With this win Gujarat have secured a place in the final, while Rajasthan will play winner of Lucknow vs Bangalore in Ahmedabad to decide the second finalist of the season.

RR responds to Miller’s “Sorry” message

However, Rajasthan Royals didn’t stay behind to respond to Miller’s “Sorry”. The franchise in no time took to Twitter to share a meme that said, “Dushman na kare dost ne voh kaam kiya hai (even an enemy won’t do what a friend has done)”.
