RCB cancel practice in Ahmedabad during IPL 2024
During the summer month of May in the IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bengaluru had to cancel their practice session, scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium, due to a heat wave in Ahmedabad ahead of their Eliminator clash against Rajasthan Royals. The Gujarat Cricket Association Secretary spoke about how they gave RCB the option of the indoor practice facility at the Gujarat College Ground or the Narendra Modi Stadium, but their management decided to prioritise the player’s health instead.
