Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has claimed on Monday, July 25 that the 2017 Dubs would have defeated the 1998 Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz. The 2017 Warriors included Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green while the 1998 Bulls feature Michael Jordan, Scotty Pippen, Steve Kerr, and Dennis Rodman.

The comments from the four-time NBA champion came after watching the Game 5 of the 1998 NBA Finals between the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls and the Karl Malone-led Utah Jazz, which was aired by NBA TV on Sunday.

Green does not appreciate comparing eras due to the drastic difference in the style of play but he believes his team from 2017 can get the better of Michael Jordan's Bulls. He wrote on Twitter, "Question… When they be comparing Era’s are they taking into consideration the drastic differences In style of play? Regardless of the answer, it’s very dumb to compare one era to the next era."

"I’m watching the 98 Bulls vs Utah in the Finals… I can’t help but notice our 2017 team would’ve beaten these Bulls by a dub and these Jazz by 40 if they’re going to play these brands of basketball. And that’s why it’s dumb to compare Era’s," he added.

Notably, Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz have not reached the 100-point mark during the 1998 NBA Finals while the Warriors have at least scored 113 points in all five matches against Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals.
