The newest Team India jersey was unveiled recently after pictures from Indian star cricketers' photoshoots emerged on social media. This is the first assignment for the Indian team after the World Test Championship 2023 final which took place in England last month. As that was an ICC event, the team did not sport a sponsor on the chest and featured “INDIA” written in bold letters.
But this time, as the West Indies series is just a regular bilateral series, the sponsor logo has appeared on the chest, replacing the country's name. The sponsor is Dream11 and the new logo on the jersey has attracted reactions from cricket fans across Twitter.
Most of the users shed negative reviews about the jersey. Fans were disappointed not to see ‘INDIA’ on the jersey. The red sponsor logo on the white-blue-themed jersey was criticized heavily on social media. Various memes emerged which trolled the jersey in a humorous way. Many fans also talked about an old Indian jersey that didn't mention 'India' and still looked great.

The West Indies tour will commence with the Test series on July 12 in Dominico. The tour will consist of 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is and will travel through West Indies and will end in Florida, USA on August 13.
