Preview:

While India have started the three-match T20I series with a win over the hosts, fans sit in anticipation of what is to come in the next two fixtures on July 9 and 10. While the way India have played in the first match could be a clear indication of the template they will be adopting in this form of the game, with senior players back in the squad for the last two T20Is and India's bowling looking sharper and stronger, it will just be the perfect spicing up of the cricketing battle against an England team battered in the opening game and desperate to make a statement.

Pitch Report:

The final game of the T20I series is expected to be another high-scoring feast. The ball is expected to come onto the bat nicely. However, there could be a bit of assistance for the new ball bowlers. Other than that, shot-makers would love to go bang bang and collect as many runs as possible for the team.

Team Analysis

England:

There will be more clarity on the team for the third T20I once the second game is over and an assessment is made based on the performances of the stars. Jos Buttler departed for a golden duck in the first game and is too good a player to have similar returns in each of the next two matches. Similarly, Jason Roy was struggling to find his form against a superb display of swing bowling by the Indians. While the Three Lions will surely get better in the batting department having the resources and the players like Liam Livingstone who have proven themselves in world cricket match after match, it is their bowling that looks the weaker of the two departments and whether they can hold their nerve and deliver against a star-studded India line-up will be interesting to see.

India:

All eyes will be on senior players, especially with the younger lot coming in and performing so well. Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant along with captain Rohit Sharma are all quality cricketers in this format but runs have been hard to come by from the bat of Virat and Rohit is taking his initial strides back in international cricket after an extended break post IPL where he had a horror run. India's bowling looks better than their opponents at least on paper and that can give them an edge in the final match of the series.

Match Prediction:

Conclusion:

India should be able to win this game. They have a better head-to-head record and played with a refreshing approach in the series opener. That could be the key to their success not only in this fixture but in their mission-T20 World Cup 2022.
