After defeating New Zealand in the 1st Test, England are brimming with confidence and will take the field at Trent Bridge with an aim to register another victory. Ben Stokes has fit himself perfectly in the captain’s shoe, while Joe Root enjoys the freedom of playing as a batter. Meanwhile, Kane Williamson’s New Zealand have erred a bit more with the bat than the ball. Barring those big innings from Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell, the Kiwis did not look comfortable at Lord’s. It is to be seen if they can bounce back from the defeat or succumb to the pressure again.
From England’s batting camp, Joe Root, Zak Crawley, Ben Stokes, and Alex Lees looked in good touch in the 1st Test and thus can prove to be good options for the fantasy team. From New Zealand, Devon Conway, Tom Blundell, Tom Latham, and Daryl Mitchell can be picked considering their batting prowess and recent form.
In bowling, the English pace duo of Stuart Broad and James Anderson is never a bad pick. Matthew Potts can be another valuable pick looking at his performance in the previous match. From the visitors’ camp, Kyle Jamieson, Trent Boult, and Tim Southee can be included in the fantasy team.
