After England all-rounder Ollie Robinson's suspension from all forms of international cricket due to his racist and sexist tweets done in year 2012, many other English players are now coming under the scanner. England limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan and Rajasthan Royals (RR) wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler’s old tweets mocking Indians are now being investigated by the England board.
In a social media post dating back to May 13, 2018, Buttler and Morgan had used the word 'sir' to mock Indians. These posts started doing the rounds on social media as soon as they were unearthed. Morgan had used the word 'Sir' for congratulating Buttler as he had smashed an unbeaten 94 runs off 53 balls. Brendon McCullum, the head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), had also reacted to Morgan's message.
Screenshots widely shared include messages like "I always reply sir no1 else like me like you like me" from Buttler and "Sir, you play very good opening batting" from Morgan. This comes after England suspended Ollie Robinson over racist tweets.

The tweets went viral after the suspension of Ollie Robinson. Robinson apologised for his racist and sexist tweets but was still suspended from international cricket.

According to a report in Telegraph, Jos Buttler had already deleted the tweets after facing criticism on social media. The English board will reportedly take a call on the English duo after their investigation. Indian fans are demanding strict action against the England duo.
