After England all-rounder Ollie Robinson's suspension from all forms of international cricket due to his racist and sexist tweets done in year 2012, many other English players are now coming under the scanner. England limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan and Rajasthan Royals (RR) wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler’s old tweets mocking Indians are now being investigated by the England board.

In a social media post dating back to May 13, 2018, Buttler and Morgan had used the word 'sir' to mock Indians. These posts started doing the rounds on social media as soon as they were unearthed. Morgan had used the word 'Sir' for congratulating Buttler as he had smashed an unbeaten 94 runs off 53 balls. Brendon McCullum, the head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), had also reacted to Morgan's message.

Screenshots widely shared include messages like "I always reply sir no1 else like me like you like me" from Buttler and "Sir, you play very good opening batting" from Morgan. This comes after England suspended Ollie Robinson over racist tweets.

Screen grabs of Eoin Morgan, Brendon McCullum and Jos Buttler making snide remarks on the way Indians speak English have gone viral since. Screenshots contained messages like "I always reply sir no1 else like me like you like me" from Buttler. While Morgan had replied with, "Sir, you play very good opening batting."
