When India and Pakistan play, the whole world watches and in the last two games it has been proved why that happens. The two teams have produced two absolute thrillers. While India clinched the first game, it was Pakistan that held their nerves in the second game. The Babar Azam-led beat India by five wickets in a last-over thriller.
Both teams played some great cricket to produce an epic encounter. After posting 181/7 in their 20 overs, India got a good start as they got Babar Azam cheaply. But Mohammad Rizwan held the fort for Pakistan and played a gem of a knock. The wicketkeeper batter scored 71 runs off 51 balls and kept the contest wide alive. Mohammad Nawaz also played a great cameo (42 off 20 balls).
In the end, Asif Ali’s 16 off 8 balls helped Pakistan finish things off nicely. But Arshdeep Singh’s last over kept fans on the edge of their seats as the left-arm quick trapped Ali LBW. Nevertheless, Iftikhar Ahmed sealed the deal by stealing two runs off the fifth ball of the 20th over.
With India and Pakistan playing another thriller, Twitter users were in awe of the quality of cricket played. They called the game epic. “Nail biting , BP rising , heart beat increasing bruhh this is ind vs pak , epic as always,” tweeted a user.
