As per reports, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has ruthlessly kicked long-time defender Phil Jones out of the club's training ground dressing room along with four other players. The Red Devils had a lot of summer signings which has demoted Jones to the under-21s’ locker room down the corridor at the Carrington training complex.

The Senior team dressing room can hold 24 players and there is no more space for Jones and four other United players. Ten Hag made six signings in his first transfer window which includes Antony, Casemiro, Martin Dubravka, Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez.

Hence Jones has been asked to move out and accommodate the club's latest purchases. Jones has been joined by youngsters Brandon Williams, Teden Mengi, Axel Tuanzebe and Shola Shoretire. These five players will be been changing with the club’s U21 team. That incident was reported by British Daily, The Sun, which claims that these five players have made way for the club’s new signings.

But despite these drastic majors, Erik ten Hag has won three-straight games where they defeated a wounded Liverpool with an incredible team effort. But for the Dutch manager, one of his bigger challenges lies inside the team which is the future of Cristiano Ronaldo as he wanted to leave the club in the recently concluded transfer window.

But while speaking in a recent interview with the Guardian, Ten Hag addressed that he will be Ronaldo’s friend or teacher based on the situation to manage him productively for the team. He said, “I will be his friend and sometimes I will be his teacher. It depends on the situation.”

He then addressed how Ronaldo wasn’t present during the pre-season and hence will take some time to work in the team’s new system.

He said: “As we all know he didn’t have the pre-season and you cannot miss the pre-season,” said Ten Hag.

“It is a base and especially in the game we play, the way of play. We play another type compared to last year. It depends on the demands, cooperation and certain positioning [of players], in and out of position, and the other thing is fitness,” he added.
