The world is still struggling to come to terms with the fact that legendary cricketer Shane Warne is no longer with us. The former Australian great breathed his last on March 4 due to a suspected heart attack and since then there have been tributes coming in one after the other for the great cricketer. Among the earliest to share the news and their condolences was Warne's management team followed by his teammates and colleagues he worked with over the years.

However, not much came to the public forum from his family. And now on Tuesday, Simone Callahan, who was married to Warne for 10 years, has broken her silence. She took to social media to pay a tribute to the late spinner. She shared a video in which Warne can be seen spending some quality family time with their three kids. The video has Frank Sinatra's "My Way" as its backdrop.

"Shane’s greatest Love, Our children Brooke, Jackson & Summer.♥️♥️♥️," Simone captioned the video.

"Shane was taken too soon from their young lives ❤️❤️❤️ Eternal love remains & will never leave ???Vale Shane ????," she added.

It would be fair to say that Warne's legacy is not restricted to the 1001 international wickets that he scalped over his career but his love for the game both on and off the field made him such a prominent figure in the sport. Perhaps that is the reason that some of his greatest rivals over the 22-yards- the likes of Sachin Tendulkar- were shocked on hearing the news.

"Shocked, stunned & miserable… Will miss you Warnie. There was never a dull moment with you around, on or off the field. Will always treasure our on field duels & off field banter. You always had a special place for India & Indians had a special place for you. Gone too young," Tendulkar had tweeted on March 4, sharing a picture with Warnie.
