Key Players

Analysis:

France suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Portugal in the final of Euro 2016. They have been widely tipped to go all the way this time around. But first they have to get out of a tricky group F containing Germany, Portugal and Hungary. The four best third-placed teams will also qualify for the quarter-finals and this could see France, Portugal and Germany all progress.

Germany are likely to play the same 3-4-3 system they have been using for a long time under Joachim Low. Germany have no shortage of attacking options with a power-packed forward line consisting of some of world’s best attackers. Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller and Kai Havertz look set to start against France. While France themselves have no shortage of world-class attackers with Griezmann, Mbappe and Benzema leading their attack.

Kai Havertz enjoyed an excellent season with Chelsea as he scored the winning goal in Champions League final against Manchester City and he will surely be a danger to France defence. Meanwhile, France will hope that Benzema can replicate his club form at the international level. The best captain and vice-captain voices for this match will be Griezmann, Mbappe, Benzema, Kroos, Pogba, Muller and  Gnabry.
