Manchester United head to San Siro to take on AC Milan in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 in a blockbuster encounter. To reach the quarter-finals, the Red Devils need to win or draw with a score line of 2-2 or higher. In the first leg, Milan defender Simon Kjaer scored through a header seconds before the final whistle, to rescue a deserved 1-1 draw for the Italian giants.

Both the teams are former European champions and are currently in 2nd position in their respective domestic leagues. The Red Devils will be wary of a high-flying Milan, who are nine points adrift of rivals Inter in the Serie A table. Milan topped their Europa League Group H comprising of LOSC Lille, Sparta Praha and Celtic with 13 points and then knocked out Crvena Zvezda in the Round of 32, courtesy of the away goals rule after an aggregate score line of 3-3.

On the other hand, United maintained their perfect record in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 as they defeated Spanish side Real Sociedad with a clinical 1st-leg display, a 4-0 win in 1st leg was followed by a goalless draw at Old Trafford in the return leg.
