Despite horrific outings in recently concluded T20 Asia Cup 2022, Team India will be once again favorites when they will participate in upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. After experimenting with several names in last few months, Indian selectors named 15-member squad which would make an attempt to lift the title for second time.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan skipper Salman Butt has made a huge statement on India's cricketing setup by claiming that it’s an 'asset' to have so many options for the selection. "You have three teams - one plays Tests, while the others play ODIs and T20Is and on top of everything, there is 'A' team playing as well. This is nothing but a blessing," he said. He further added that India is one of the biggest economies and anything can sell in that country. "There has been no 'A' tour nor an U19 tour in last two years. We can also achieve such numbers but only if we will make some significant changes," added Pakistan former skipper.

"India is one of the biggest economies, it’s one of the biggest markets. Anything sells when your consumers are large in numbers. Even people associated with flop movies in India do not bear loss because of sheer number of times they are watched," said Salman Butt while answering a fan's question during a YouTube session. Speaking of Team India, Rohit Sharma-led side has left for Australia to participate in highly anticipated T20 World Cup 2022.

After shocking elimination from Asia Cup, Men in Blue hosted Australia and South Africa for three-match T20I series and emerged victorious in both the bilateral contest. While Team India's T20I squad has left for Australia, another team under the leadership of Shikhar Dhawan is clashing with South Africa in a three-match ODI series.
