The EA Sports FC 24 has been named a featured title in the highly-anticipated Esports World Cup (EWC) 2024. The decision has come owing to the growing prominence in the competitive game scene and aims to add uniqueness to the lineup with titles like R6, Fortnite, Overwatch 2, PUBG, PUBG Mobile, and Garena Free Fire. The first Esports World Cup joined hands with Qiddiya, adding excitement and thrill to the upcoming tournament.

Over the next three years, Qiddiya’s esports hub will host esports tournaments globally and will establish itself as the home of the Esports World Cup. The EWC 2024 is expected to be scheduled in July and August and will come with a diverse lineup of several titles including StarCraft II, Overwatch 2, Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Garena Free Fire. 

The objective behind hosting the World Cup is to transform Saudi Arabia into a gaming hub as well as introduce technology to players and fans. The EWC 2024 will be hosted in Qiddiya City, Riyadh.
