MS Dhoni is on the verge of calling it quits on his Indian Premier League after this season. While speculations have it that Dhoni will hang the boots after the completion of this season, Dhoni’s responses at various instances have kept the fans guessing. Former India and Chennai Super Kings player Suresh Raina’s latest statement about their recent chat has put all the speculations to rest for a while. Meanwhile, a new clip has been getting viral on social media about MS Dhoni, and the interesting part about the video is that it doesn’t have the CSK skipper in it.
The video features an old man, who looks similar to what Dhoni would look like at that age. The clip dates to game number 41 of the IPL 2023, between CSK and Punjab Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. A user posted a video of an old man on Instagram with a caption that read, "Brooooo Dhoni from 2040 is watching this match." The video has gone viral on social media with several fans reacting to it.

Notably, many speculate that this would be MS Dhoni’s last season of the Indian Premier League. However, Suresh Raina has revealed that MS Dhoni won’t retire after this season. He revealed that the veteran wicket-keeper told him that he will play for one more year after winning the trophy. He said, "Main trophy jeetke ek saal aur khelunga (After winning the trophy, I will play for one more year."
Speaking of the MS Dhoni-led side, Chennai Super Kings have won six out of the 11 matches they have played. On the points table, they sit at the second spot with 11 points. In their next match, they will clash against Delhi Capitals on May 10 at the MA Chidambaram.
